Life Skills Coach | Thresholds | Grand Rapids, MI

Part-Time | $16.80/hr. | In-Person

Are you passionate about helping others live fuller, more connected lives? Thresholds is looking for motivated, caring individuals to join our team as Life Skills Coaches, supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in building friendships, exploring interests, and engaging in their communities.

What You’ll Do:

- Facilitate social and recreational activities that foster inclusion and personal growth

- Build meaningful, supportive relationships with individuals served

- Provide transportation to and from community outings

- Help individuals develop social skills and pursue personal goals

- Track and document progress on Life Skills goals (IPOS)

What We’re Looking For:

- High school diploma or equivalent (degree in social services preferred)

- Valid Michigan driver’s license and clean driving record

- Awareness of psycho-social and physical needs of individuals with disabilities

- Basic computer skills

- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
